The best way for us to describe Trader Joe's Crispy Jalapeño Pieces is: Crispy Onion Pieces, but with jalapeños instead of onions. That's really it. There are only a few ingredients in the recipe - fresh jalapeño peppers, flour, oil, and sea salt. And that's what you taste, the subtle heat of jalapeño, with the crispy crunch you'll recognize from the oniony ancestors. Snack on these straight from the canister.
