먹기 전에 4온스(약 120ml)의 물에 2정을 완전히 녹이세요.

12세 이상의 성인 및 아동의 경우

- 4시간마다 또는 의사의 지시에 따라 2정씩 섭취하세요.

- 24시간 동안 8정을 초과하지 마십시오.

60세 이상의 성인의 경우

- 4시간마다 또는 의사의 지시에 따라 2정씩 섭취하세요.

- 24시간 동안 4정을 초과하지 마십시오.

12세 미만의 어린이: 의사와 상담하십시오.

잔 바닥에 남아 있는 잔여물은 마시지 않아도 됩니다.

사용 권장량을 초과하지 마세요.

라이 증후군(급성뇌염증): 수두나 독감과 유사한 증상이 있거나 회복 중인 어린이와 청소년은 이 제품을 사용하면 안 됩니다.

이 제품을 사용할 때, 메스꺼움과 구토를 동반한 행동의 변화가 일어난다면, 이러한 증상들은 드물지만 심각한 질병인 라이 증후군의 초기 징후일 수 있기 때문에 의사와 상담하십시오.

알레르기 경고: 아스피린은 알레르기 반응을 일으킬 수 있으며 두드러기, 얼굴의 붓기, 천식, 쇼크와 같은 반응을 포함할 수 있습니다.

아스피린이나 다른 진통제,감소제에 알레르기가 있는 경우 섭취하지 마십시오.

- 60세 이상인 경우

- 당뇨병, 통풍, 관절염과 같은 증상으로 처방약을 복용중인 경우

- 고혈압, 심장병, 간경변 또는 신장병을 앓고 있는 경우

- 속쓰림과 같은 위 질환의 이력이 있는 경우

- 이뇨제를 복용하거나 천식이 있는 경우

- 이 제품을 사용하며 매일 3잔 이상의 알코올을 섭취한 경우

- 나트륨 제한식을 하는 경우

- 지시된 것보다 더 오래 혹은 많은 양을 섭취한 경우

열과 통증이 더 심해지거나 3일 이상 발열이 지속되는 경우 사용을 중지하고 의사에게 문의하십시오.

귀에서 울리거나 청력 손실이 발생하는 경우 사용을 중지하고 의사와 상담하세요.

Uses:

Warnings:

• Reye's syndrome: Children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product. When using this product, if changes in behavior with nausea and vomiting occur, consult a doctor because these symptoms could be an early sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious illness.
• Allergy alert: Aspirin may cause a server allergic reaction which may include:
   - hives
   - facial swelling
   - asthma (wheezing)
   - shock
• Stomach bleeding warning: This product contains and NSAID, which may cause severe stomach bleeding. The change is higher if you
   - are age 60 or older
   - have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems
   - take a blood thinning (anticoagulant) or steroid drug
   - take other drugs containing prescription or nonprescription NSAIDs (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others)
   - have 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product
   - take more or for a longer time than directed
• Do not use
   - if you are allergic to aspirin or any other pain reliever/fever reducer
   - if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients
• Ask a doctor before use if
   - stomach bleeding warning applies to you
   - you have a history of stomach problems, such as heartburn
   - you have high blood pressure, heart disease, liver cirrhosis, or kidney disease
   - you are taking a diuretic
   - you have asthma
   - you have a sodium-restricted diet
• Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking a prescription drug for
   - diabetes
   - gout
   - arthritis
• Stop use and ask a doctor if
   - an allergic reaction occurs.  Seek medical help right away.
   -  you experience any of the following signs of stomach bleeding: feel faint, vomit blood, have bloody or black stools, have stomach pain that does not get better
   - pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days
   -  fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days
   -  redness or swelling is present
   - new symptoms occur
   - ringing in the ears or a loss of hearing occurs
• If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
• It is especially important not to use aspirin at 20 weeks or later in pregnancy unless definitely directed to do so by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery.
• Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Directions:

• Fully dissolve 2 tablets in 4 ounces of water before taking.
• Adults and children 12 years and over:
   - 2 tablets every 4 hours, or as directed by a doctor
   - Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours
• Adults 60 years and over:
   - 2 tablets every 4 hours, or as directed by a doctor
   - Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours
• Children under 12 years: consult a doctor
• You do not have to drink any of the residue that may be on the bottom of the glass. The medicine of Alka-Seltzer® is in the water.
• Take Alka-Seltzer® at any time- morning, noon, or night- when you need relief from headaches, backaches, body aches or muscle pain.
